People can grow and recovery from all forms of mental health struggles that are negatively impacting their life. There is no limit to the humans' ability to improve their quality of life and achieve the goals that they want. Trauma and maladaptive coping strategies can impact many different facets of a person's life such as relationships, view of self-esteem and self-worth, and mental health such as anxiety and depression. Everyone has the capacity to learn better coping strategies that can impact their behavior and thought process which will improve their quality of life. Here at Where Faith Meets Mental Health, we believe that change is possible and that in order for a person to succeed and to experience optimum happiness, the person must be willing to look at these six areas of their life: 1. Relationships 2. Career 3. Physical health 4. Mental health 5. Finances 6. Spirituality We believe that these domains are interconnected and we work with individuals, couples, and family in their homes or virtually to provide them with highest quality of service. We believe in a holistic approach to healing that focuses on cultivating healthy relationships, fulfilling careers, optimum physical health, mental health, financial stability and an understanding of one's spirituality.

What to Expect...

Psychotherapy

Only a skilled clinician can provide psychotherapeutic sessions.  Psychotherapists are mental health professionals that have completed several years of formal education and training and at least 3000 hrs of supervised clinical training. They work with individuals with mental health challenges ranging from depression to psychotic disorders.  Therapy is not life-coaching. Therapists are able to diagnose, make recommendations for a level of care and provide therapy sessions for an extended period of time until treatment goals are accomplished.

Life Coaching

During your first appointment, the coach will gather important information from you.  You will be assessed and then the coach will work with you to identify personalized treatment plan or coaching goals. The length of coaching sessions and the duration of overall duration of coaching depends on what the individual, couple, or family wants to work on and the severity of the individual's symptoms.

We assist our clients with healing, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths.  We are committed to supporting individuals and families by providing direct support, building communities, offering training and consultation to therapists.

We strive to assist you in your journey of exploring your beliefs, feelings, and behaviors and help you find your sense of self. Our desire is for you to grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and inspire change and improve the quality of your life.
